- focus on molecular-genetic imaging for human cancers and other conditions using synthetic biology, nanotechnology and small animal imaging
- The applicant is expected to have a PhD (or equivalent) in biochemistry, microbiology or molecular biology and documented experience in the development and execution of new molecular imaging agents for preclinical studies and clinical translation.
- Exceptional candidates can apply at the Associate Professor or Professor levels.
- Candidates at or above the Associate Professor level are expected to have a strong publication record and sustained external funding in the areas described above.
- This faculty position will be within the Research section in the Department of Radiology with close interactions with scientists in the rest of the Department, as well as scientists in the Advanced Imaging Research Center, and the Biomedical Engineering Department.
