- Title: Assistant Maintenance Technician Location: Norfolk, VA Status: Full-Time Position Summary: The Lead Maintenance Technician will provide supervision and overall quality assurance over all completed work.
- The Lead Maintenance Technician shall be responsible for managing maintenance service and repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, minor landscaping and machinery and electrical services for MSC facilities, as well as maintaining accurate electronic records of daily work activities.
- The Lead Maintenance Technician shall leverage his/her expertise and bring to the attention of the GPOC or COR any practice or procedure executed by other Contractors, which in his/her professional opinion, is deemed not in accordance with industry's best practices.
- Minimum Requirements Associates degree or Eight (8) years of general building maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of a variety of maintenance and mechanical tasks, including supervisory principles and practices, equipment and building maintenance practices, standard safety practices, and construction trade work: carpentry, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, minor landscaping, painting, plastering.
