- The Assistant General Counsel will provide day-to-day legal and regulatory support to multiple specialty niche business units including commercial bond, political risk and trade credit, fine art and specie, terrorism and political violence, structured risk solutions and programs.
- Serve as legal and regulatory counsel to underwriters of US specialty niche underwriting business units including provision of creative and timely legal advice and guidance on wide range of insurance, surety and corporate issues as well as guidance on business and contractual matters
- Draft, review and negotiate large variety of commercial contracts (including bond forms and riders, general indemnity agreements, producer, program administrator, confidentiality, third party administrator, vendor, indemnity, etc.)
- Collaborate effectively with internal operational areas, including Middle Office, Marketing/Communications, Claims, and Finance
- Law Degree from an accredited law school is required, and you must be a licensed attorney in at least one State.
