- The Assistant Fire Chief of Training and Operations performs administrative and management of the Fire Department's operations, training initiatives, and professional development of staff.
- This position supports the overall administration of the Fire Department; assumes command of the department in absence of the Fire Chief, and assists the Fire Chief in planning, coordinating and delivering Fire services to meet the goals and objectives of the department.
- Act in the absence of the Fire Chief.
- IFSAC and/or ProBoard certified as a Fire Instructor I within one year of hire.
