- About the role The Assistant Director of Development for the iCons Program (Integrated Concentration in STEM) in the College of Natural Sciences (CNS) is responsible for increasing philanthropic support for iCons, focusing on leadership annual giving and corporate relations.
- Under the direction of the Chief Development Officer and in collaboration with the UMAF's Annual Giving team, the Assistant Director will be responsible for building a pipeline of leadership annual giving donors and major gift prospects specific to the donor continuum: identification and qualification, and cultivation, solicitation, stewardship of individual donors.
- Develop systems (including efficient use of donor database) to identify, qualify, and solicit leadership annual gift prospects with emphasis on $10,000-$25,000 in support of iCons.
- Recruits and solicits corporate partners for the iCons Industry Consortium; cultivates and stewards partners to increase philanthropic support and leverage student engagement/internship opportunities.
