- The Office of Health Promotions at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County is seeking an Assistant Director for Health Promotion who will work with students to meet the Divisional priorities of fostering public health and safety and helping to develop life skills and interaction amongst UMBC students.
- The Office of Health Promotion (OHP) contributes to a culture of wellbeing at UMBC by providing evidence-informed health promotion, resources, skills and support that are responsive to the needs of our community.
- We contribute to fostering a campus community that supports and empowers individuals to make healthy lifestyle choices at UMBC and beyond.
- Additionally, this position will work in collaboration with other departments within the Division of Student Affairs and across the UMBC community to build departmental capacity and provide consultations to other units seeking to implement health promotion, public health and health education activities.
- The incumbent uses health equity and inclusive excellence lenses to develop intersectional programs, initiatives and outreach efforts that contribute to a culture of wellbeing at UMBC for all students.
