- Under the direction of the Associate Athletics Director for Compliance, the Assistant Director for Compliance assists in coordinating, planning and organizing all phases of a Division I NCAA compliance program for 30 varsity sports, athletics and University staff, representatives of athletics interests and other outside constituencies.
- As are all coaches and staff members, they are responsible for the integrity of Georgetown's intercollegiate athletics program and for the reputation of Georgetown University.
- Responsibilities include but are not limited to rules education, producing educational newsletter, initial and continuing eligibility certification, official/unofficial visits, National Letter of Intent, Student-Athlete Opportunity Fund, internal reviews, legislative reviews, and continued monitoring of NCAA certification.
- The Assistant Director for Compliance reports directly to the Associate Athletics Director for Compliance, and works closely with the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Internal Operations, and with head and assistant coaches and athletic administrators.
