- The NYPD strives to foster a safe and fair city by incorporating Neighborhood Policing into all facets of Department operations, and solve the problems that create crime and disorder through an interdependent relationship between the people and its police, and by pioneering strategic innovation.
- The NYPD - Medical Division seeks a Physician (MD or DO) with Board Certification in Medical or Surgical Critical Care to assume the Full Time position of Assistant Chief Surgeon.
- The candidate would be expected to assist the Chief surgeon in all Departmental projects and supervise a cadre of physicians, psychologists, nurses and other healthcare workers in administering and fostering physical health and well-being of uniformed police officers.
