- Job Description Summary / TWC SummarySummary / TWC Summary An Assistant Chief Pilot is accountable for the professional standards of the flight instructors under his/her authority and operations and training safety management goals.
- Oversees the day-to-day operations of the professional pilot program, including but not limited to; Scheduling and dispatching of flights, review of Flight Risk Assessment Tools, administering performance reviews, assisting with the hiring of new flight crew, management of pilot staff, providing ground and flight lessons to students including stage checks.
- Essential Duties SummarySummary Performing the duties of Instructor Pilot when necessary;Assisting in the development of Standard Operating Procedures and qualification requirements for flight crews;Maintaining records pertaining to pilot certifications and currency.
- In addition, ensuring periodic checks for accurate flight schedule pro entries by Flight InstructorsWork with the Maintenance and Safety Coordinator to ensure student safety at the airport.
