Job Description The Branch Assistant Manager works with the Branch Manager to organize, plan, and implement strategies in a Sherwin-Williams Automotive Branch. This includes supporting all aspects of branch operations, including customer service, sales, marketing, merchandising, inventory, finances, and store safety. This role will assist in supervising and training store staff. The individual selected for this role will be expected to work at our Automotive Branch #9345 located at: 1215 North Rand Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60004 The annual salary for this position is between $54,347.02 - $67,023.06 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for an Assistant Branch Manager bonus base on performance and subject to the terms of the Company's applicable plans. Responsibilities <ul><li>Assist in developing and implementing branch market plan based on market conditions, branch mission and financial/budget objectives</li><li>Support business strategies to increase sales and optimize profitability</li><li>Build and maintain knowledge of all products to ensure effective customer recommendations</li><li>Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service</li><li>Verify customer orders and transactions are completed and documented accurately</li><li>Maintain branch inventory levels</li><li>Ensure compliance with policies and procedures including safety, loss prevention, and security </li><li>Support employee training, development, performance management, and corrective action</li><li>Respond to and resolve any customer and/or employee complaints</li><li>Assist in determining staffing needs and develop work schedules</li><li>Analyze management and financial reports, including financial ratios relative to Profit & Loss (“P&L”)</li><li>Assist with daily bank deposits </li></ul>Qualifications Minimum Requirements <ul><li>Must be at least eighteen 18 years of age</li><li>Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future</li><li>Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License</li><li>Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion</li><li>Must have at least one (1) year of work experience in retail, sales, or customer service or have completed a Sherwin-Williams Development Program </li></ul>Preferred Qualifications <ul><li>Have at least three (3) years of work experience in customer service, retail, or sales</li><li>Have at least one (1) year of work experience in a Sherwin-Williams Automotive Branch</li><li>Have at least one (1) year of work experience in an automotive aftermarket industry</li><li>Have at least one (1) year of experience in leadership role(s), supervising others, or leading teams</li><li>Have at least one (1) year of work experience using Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, and/or Outlook)</li><li>Have work experience using timekeeping and/or customer relationship management ("CRM") systems</li><li>Have an associate degree or higher in Business, Sales, or Marketing</li><li>Willingness to relocate for future job opportunities </li></ul>About Us Here, we believe there’s not one path to success, we believe in careers that grow with you.
