- The Oregon Department of Justice (DOJ) is seeking a transactional attorney with design and construction experience to join the Infrastructure and Transportation Section (INS) of the General Counsel Division.
- INS also provides legal services to support the state’s efforts to increase equity and accessibility throughout state government.
- INS also has a team of design and construction attorneys who provide specialized legal consultation and advice to all state agencies involved in design and construction projects and transactions, including project planning, procurement, contract development, and contract review.
- The review, drafting and development of design and construction contracts; architectural and engineering contracts; and other related services contracts (such as project management or consultant services agreements) related to building, road, and bridge construction.
- Assisting government agencies with conventional design-bid-build transactions, as well as advanced and alternative construction delivery methods, such as construction manager/general contractor and design-build.
