- The Department of Cancer Biology and Pharmacology of the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria (UICOMP) is now inviting applications for tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor level positions to expand its research programs in translational cancer research.
- Established federally funded mid-career investigators and early career investigators with outstanding training and a strong track record of scholarly productivity in cancer research, with an uncompromised commitment to a culture that is conducive to collaborative interdisciplinary research and to the promotion of diversity, equity and inclusion, and a genuine interest in contributing to the educational mission of the medical school are highly encouraged to apply.
- The successful candidate will have a Ph. D., M.D./Ph. D., D.V.M./Ph. D., D.M.D./Ph. D., D.D.S./Ph. D., D.O./Ph. D. in basic/translational research in cancer, with at least 3 years of postdoctoral training in cancer research and a solid record of scholarly productivity, as evidenced by peer-reviewed publications, fellowship and grant awards, and participation in national and international conferences.

- In partnership with the Chair of the Department of Cancer Biology and Pharmacology, develop a comprehensive strategy for funding, and sustained growth of a stellar research program in cancer research.
