- The Department of Clinical and Health Psychology within the College of Public Health and Health Professions invites applications for a tenured or tenure-track position at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank in the area of Medical/Health Psychology with an emphasis in pain, though strong candidates from all Health/Medical Psychology will be welcomed.
- The Center for Pain Research and Behavioral Health has had excellent research, clinical, and training relationships with multiple partners in Medicine (Rheumatology, Anesthesiology, Gastroenterology, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Psychiatry, Family Practice), Dentistry, and Computer Science.
- If applicable, day-to-day clinical service delivery responsibilities may take place across a variety of settings within the UF Health Science Center, including our outpatient UF Psychology Specialties Clinic, other UF Health Outpatient Clinics, or the inpatient units at UF Health/Shands Hospital.
- The Department has a 60-year history of providing APaccredited doctoral and internship training in clinical psychology and advanced specialty-specific training in four major areas of study: Neuropsychology, Clinical Health Psychology, Clinical Child and Pediatric Psychology, and Cognitive and Emotion Neuroscience.
- The UF Academic Health Center ( is the only AHC in the country with six colleges located on a single, contiguous campus.
