AOT Technician V - Traffic Investigator

- The Traffic Investigations Unit is responsible for performing a variety of Traffic Investigations including but not limited to: evaluation of existing traffic control devices (mainly signs and pavement markings), recommendation of proposed new traffic control devices, and review of project plans and work zones.
- Traffic Investigation also includes performing Engineering Studies on behalf of the Traffic Operations Engineer for Traffic Committee.

- Fieldwork may involve exposure to hazardous materials, traffic hazards, and construction sites during all weather conditions; and may involve traversing rough terrain and bodies of water.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering technology, environmental technology, surveying, construction technology, architecture, construction management, or related technical field AND four (4) years of experience performing engineering support tasks involved in one or more of the following: planning, surveying, design, inspection, construction, research and statistics, testing, investigation, maintenance or construction of various types of civil engineering projects.
