- Under the direction of the Vice President, Practice Area Leader, the Airline Liaison Officer/Director (ALO) has the primary responsibility for managing relationships between airport and airline representatives regarding matters that affect airline operations at Miami International Airport (MIA).
- The key areas of responsibility include managing communication regarding aviation project management, terminal design and construction, airline operations, and airport design, planning, and operations activities.
- Review conceptual and detailed designs for capital development projects in areas including terminals, concourses, and the airfield, as well as for specialty systems such as baggage handling, airline and common use terminal equipment, major drain and storm water management, electrical communication distribution systems, utilities, cargo buildings, passenger terminal facilities, NAVAIDS, and other airport and airline facilities.
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in civil engineering, architecture, construction management, aviation management, real estate, law, or finance.
