- Addiction Medicine Provider
- The Addiction Medicine Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) will join other providers, nurses, and social work staff in the Dimock Addiction Medicine Program.
- This position will provide comprehensive, patient-centered, trauma-informed medical assessment and support to patients with substance use disorders in both our Office Based Addiction Treatment (OBAT) clinic and Acute Treatment Stabilization (ATS) unit.
- Supports engagement in the health care system by evaluating, diagnosing, and treating urgent care needs and primary care bridge services for patients unconnected to care while receiving treatment at OBAT. This may include typical urgent care evaluation and management or support of longer-term critical chronic disease management.
- Collaborates and communicates effectively with other team members at ATS and OBAT, including clinical leadership, other APPs, case managers, aftercare planners, behavioral health specialists, and admissions staff
