- Holding a position in the Accounting Technician series is a great opportunity to learn more about the government accounting field.
- Four (4) years of experience maintaining and reviewing accounting and financial records, preparing and processing accounting documents, or the maintenance of a fiscal record keeping system; AND completion of two years (60 semester units) of college or technical school training with course work preferably in business, bookkeeping, accounting or financial records.
- Two years of experience as an Accounting Technician in Yolo County; or four years of highly responsible accounting or financial support para-professional experience which involved the monitoring, reconciliation, verification, analysis, and approval of financial expenditures.
- Some college or technical school level training in business, bookkeeping, accounting or financial records is desirable.
- Note: Foreign language documents must include a precise word-for-word English translation of all foreign language documents.
