- Immediate need for an Accounting Specialist to join this growing organization in the Alameda area
- As an Accounting Specialist you will be responsible for performing a variety of routine to complex technical and administrative account support duties in the preparation, maintenance, and processing of accounting records and transactions, including general ledger accounting, financial reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and collections processes
- Daily responsibilities will include posting journal entries, generating and distributing reconciliation report, processing accounts payable payments, setting up vendors in the database, and assisting with month end close
- The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of general ledger experience, knowledge of terminology and practices of financial and accounting document processing and record keeping, including US GAAP financial reporting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll, and a BA or AA Degree
