Sheep and Goat Farming

Sheep and goat farming businesses raise livestock for breeding and sale of animals, and may also produce meat and related products from their herds. Jobs often include herdsman/livestock caretaker roles, feeding and pasture management, fencing and barn maintenance, animal health monitoring, and some breeding and record-keeping. Work is hands-on and outdoor most days, typically involving early mornings, physically demanding chores, and routine on-farm tasks that may require basic livestock-handling experience.
