The Washington Ballet (TWB) is an ensemble of professional ballet dancers based in Washington DC. It was founded in 1976 by Mary Day, and
Lead and instruct students of ballet and creative movement classes at partnered DanceDC schools and at The Washington School of Ballet at SE campus
Eligible candidates should have experience teaching in public schools and/or private studios working with a variety of age groups.
Qualifications: The successful candidate must have both classical and contemporary sensibilities with an appreciation for dance as a total art form.
S/he will conduct research, as assigned, on ballet repertoire, as it pertains to the acquisition of pieces into TWB’s repertoire.
