- Position Summary We are recruiting an energetic and empathetic Variable Hours Officer / Clinical Coordinator III - NP to join our team to provide care for low-risk obstetric patients on the OB/GYN inpatient service at the Allen Pavilion in accordance with mutually agreed upon protocols within the policies and procedures established by the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Demonstrates a sound knowledge base and clinical decision-making skills in the administration of Clinical Coordinator III - nurse practitioner care for the low-risk obstetric patient population.
- Engages in ongoing peer review and utilization review activities, competency evaluations and Medical Board reviews.
- Patient Safety Administers care in accordance with safety, environmental and infectious control principles and regulations identified by the institution and legislative bodies.
- Master’s Degree in specialty of practice or completed alternative certification requirements for graduates of nurse practitioner programs prior to April 1, 1989.
