- We are seeking a motivated, high energy, self-starter to serve in the role of "Traffic Signal Technician I ".
- Representative Duties Assists in the installation of detection, communication and signal cable on overhead span or in underground conduit for traffic signal systems that include but are not limited to signal monitoring, wireless radio, fiber optic networking, and alternative vehicle detection (video, microwave, inductive loop, and radar).
- Performs other related duties as required Minimum Qualifications Traffic Signal Technician I High school graduate or equivalent and documented completion of vocational training in communication systems, computer sciences, electricity, electronics; or one year of related experience may be substituted for the vocational training.
- Must pass the Traffic Signal Technician I entry level test at 70% or greater within 6 months of hire.
- Traffic Signal Technician II High school graduate or equivalent, documented completion of vocational training in construction, electricity or electronics and one year of experience in electronics and or traffic signal technology.
