- Who we are and what we do:TennCare is Tennessee's managed care Medicaid program that provides health insurance coverage to certain groups of low-income individuals such as pregnant women, children, caretaker relatives of young children, older adults, and adults with physical disabilities.
- This is a team lead position that primarily requires direct hands-on procurement, document creation, review, routing, advising, relationship building, and finalization specifically related to Programmatic needs and State of Tennessee Procurement.
- Among other procurement types, the Administrative Services Manager position notably takes on a major role on complex IT software and license purchasing that enables the agency to experience continuity of critical services.
- This requires advanced communication skills, customer services focus, organization, and planning that requires, but is not limited to timely submission of renewal requests, thorough record keeping through applicable systems, working through and organizing agency critical requests, Edison Requisition/Purchase Order input, and other commodity purchases along with Programmatic specific licenses/subscriptions requests.
- The Admin Services Manager provides thorough review of all required procurement documentation prior to finalization to ensure compliance with the Central Procurement Office's Procurement Manual and Polices as well as applicable State of Tennessee Procurement Law. As a liaison between all TennCare Programmatic areas, there will be a frequent need to update, provide guidance, and ensure a clear path forward for all TennCare Procurement requests.
