- Chronicle Heritage is seeking an Staff Architectural Historian to expand our team of experienced, motivated, and engaged historic preservation specialists in Michigan.
- The Staff Architectural Historian will provide technical and regulatory assistance to guide municipal, state, and federal projects through the National Environmental Policy Act, Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act, and State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) processes.
- The Staff Architectural Historian will assist in efforts to identify and document buildings, structures, objects, districts, and historic landscapes, and will be responsible for NRHP, and local register significance evaluations and assessments of effect.
- The Staff Architectural Historian will also apply the Secretary of Interior (SOI) Standards for Rehabilitation and develop and implement creative historic preservation mitigation, including Historic American Buildings Survey/Historic American Engineering Record/Historic American Landscapes Survey documentation, oral histories, interpretive displays, and video documentaries.
