- Job DescriptionThe Salvation ArmyPosition DescriptionSSVF Office – Peoria Vet Center Position Title: SSVF Case Manager – Peoria Vet Center Job Summary: Provide supportive services at The Salvation Army using the critical time intervention strength-based case management approach to Veterans and their families with a desire to take action to break the cycle of crisis and vulnerability in their lives and change the trajectory of their lives through sustainable permanent housing interventions.
- Reports To: SSVF Region 4 Case Manager Supervisor Supervises: N/A Qualifications: Candidates must have a passion for fulfilling the mission of The Salvation Army and must be articulate in presenting the same to others.
- Prior knowledge and training in Critical Time Intervention (CTI), harm reduction, Housing First, Trauma Informed Care, motivational interviewing, conflict resolution and medication is preferred.
- Implement SSVF emergency response plan by providing Emergency Housing Assistance to Veterans in response to the COVID-19 throughout Fulton, Peoria, Tazewell and Woodford Counties.
- Provides services as needed, court appointments, landlord/tenant conflict resolution, etc.
