- The University of Wisconsin – Madison is seeking a postdoctoral researcher for a two-year position to focus on adaptive capacity and climate resilience as relates to the management of fisheries and wildlife in the midwestern US. The postdoc will be expected to be the principal analyst and researcher for a MW CASC Consortium synthesis project on incorporating climate resilience into management of fish and wildlife within the context of a changing and variable climate.
- Specifically, the postdoc will lead research on phenotypic variation as it relates to climate adaptation in fish and wildlife, including identifying climate-resilient phenotypes, and building a conceptual framework for incorporating adaptive capacity into fish and wildlife management.
- The postdoc will also collaborate closely with a working group of partners from natural resource agencies and tribal organizations.
- The postdoc is expected to conduct systematic literature reviews, lead data analysis, organize workshops, and develop senior-authored manuscripts.
