- Non-routing matters are referred with recommended solutions to the terminal manager.
- Daily contact is normal maintained with the terminal manager for informational purposes and for recommendations to improve productivity and cost controls, other Managers within the terminal for the coordination of train planning.
- Maintain good relations with all major contacts include the Union Pacific Railroad Manager of Intermodal Train planning in order to keep apprised of intermodal conditions and secure information concerning inbound train arrivals.
- Maintain awareness and organization within the rail yard, to include an attention to the ground surface (potholes, debris and/or slippery conditions).
- Qualifications:Valid Driver's LicenseAdvanced knowledge of railroad industry from a vocational education institute, apprenticeship, on the job training and/or similar work experience.
