- Job Description: Position Summary The Biofabrication division within the 3D Technologies group at Merck is looking for an enrolled PHD student who is passionate about developing complex in vitro models for drug discovery and development.
- The scientist will work on an independent project under direct supervision using their previously acquired skills in biological systems, in vitro modelling, and bioprinting.
- Major Responsibilities •Collaborate with our multidisciplinary research team to develop, assess, and streamline complex in vitro model systems fabricated using state-of-the-art commercial bioprinters.
- Design and execute experiments involving cell line and primary mammalian cells, natural and synthetic biomaterials, and microfluidic systems linked to fluidic pumps, to advance our research goals.
- Analyze experimental data, interpret results, and contribute to the formulation of hypotheses.
