- We are seeking a Nuclear Safety Analysis Structural Engineer who will focus on performing analysis and reviews for planned upgrades and projects relating primarily to civil and structural engineering.

- The successful candidate should have a strong background in civil or structural engineering, the ability to provide review and analysis for engineering projects and nuclear safety basis documents, and the flexibility to learn and support other systems and projects at the High Flux Isotope Reactor (HFIR).
- Preparation and maintenance of the HFIR safety basis documents, including the HFIR Safety Analysis Report (SAR), Cold Neutron Source Documented Safety Analysis (CS DSA), HFIR Technical Safety Requirements (TSRs), fuel shipping container Safety Analysis Reports for Packaging (SARP), and Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA).
- Perform analysis, testing, and research as necessary to support the HFIR beryllium reflector replacement and reactor pressure vessel replacement projects.
