- LOCATION/DEPT: Assigned School/Migrant Education REPORTS TO: Director of ESL/Migrant Education FLSA Status: Non Exempt 19 hours or less per weekQualifications and Special Requirements Bilingual Spanish and EnglishHigh School Diploma required, post-secondary degree preferred.
- Experience working with immigrant youth, specifically migrant farmworkers.
- Experience with teaching English as a Second Language and coordinating additional educational services.
- Comfortable working independently to deliver ESL and other educational services in migrant housing locations throughout Henderson County.
- Valid driver’s license with access to personal vehicle to travel to migrant camps (will be reimbursed for all travel) Responsibilities: Implement instructional ESL and supportive services to migrant farmworker out-of-school youth (OSY) using Rosetta Stone Curriculum and Goal Setting WorkbookAbility to work three to four days per week during the late afternoon/evening, including Saturday and Sunday as needed.
