- The Lifeline Direct Services Manager is responsible for overseeing the delivery of services via Family Services of the Merrimack Valley's (FSMV) 24/7 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline to ensure callers receive appropriate emotional support and referrals.
- Employee Engagement: Conduct employee engagement, wellness, and support activities to ensure all Lifeline staff are able to manage the emotional strain of Lifeline work, including the coordination of monthly wellness groups, individual debriefing as needed, team building, provision of resource referral, and ongoing training.
- Staff Recruitment: Collaborate with FSMV Human Resources Director to recruit, screen, orient, and train new Lifeline staff.
- Maintains knowledge of all staff functions to be able to carry out those responsibilities in case of absence/vacancy, including Lifeline Supervisor and Call Taker, to provide shift coverage as needed and serve as on-call back up on a rotating basis.
