- Under the direct supervision of the Executive Director of HACU's National Internship Program (HNIP), the Internship Housing Manager will lead, coordinate, and oversee the day-to-day operations and management of student housing, events, and travel needs.
- The Internship Housing Manager, with the support of the Internship Housing Coordinator, will work directly with interns to coordinate their travel to internship sites and housing arrangements for the course of their internship.
- Responsibilities include researching suitable and convenient housing at multiple internship sites across the United States and Puerto Rico. The Internship Housing Manager plays a pivotal role in creating a welcoming community, fostering positive relationships, and ensuring that all interns have a positive and enriching housing experience during their internship program.
- Additionally, the Internship Housing Manager will take lead in the logistics and planning of HNIPs orientation sessions which take place in Washington, D.C. prior to each session.
- Prior experience as a resident assistant or director, student housing manager, or property management is preferred.
