- Overview The Cache County Clerk/Auditor department invites candidates to apply for a Finance Administration Supervisor position.
- The Finance Administration Supervisor will perform professional administrative duties and exercise direct or functional control over such functions as accounting, budgeting and financial planning and reporting.
- Responsibilities and Duties Directs the compilation of current expenses and capital estimates for the budget; maintains records and schedules to track major projects, grants, contracts, and leases, to ensure that receivables and payables are timely and in compliance with the terms of the corresponding contracts/agreements; evaluate and improve county financial practices, especially with respect to the use of information technology.
- Directs the analysis and reconciliation of various general ledger accounts; ensures proper protocols are followed regarding year-end closing procedures; prepares schedules and gathers documents for the annual audit process; audits the inventory physical count procedures/adjustments postings.
- Directs accounts payable, payroll functions of the County, and the training of subordinate staff on essential functions; reviews payroll records and disbursement documentation; oversees the record keeping function
