Field Engineer - Heavy & Highway Civil Construction

- A successful Field Engineer for Heavy & Highway Civil Construction will need to interface between Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, Owners (DOT), Vendors, Subcontractors and other members of the project team.
- Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, review of drawings and specifications, scheduling of construction operations and material orders, cost estimating and monitoring, design of temporary support structures and safety systems, oversight of consultant engineering, quality control and environmental compliance, and the preparation and submittal of plans and reports.
- Design elements include erection plans, shop drawings and 3D CAD modeling.
- Must be a self–starter with good communication skills, strong organization, detail oriented with the ability to retain big picture thinking.
- MUST PASS A PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG SCREENING., Must be willing and able to work in a fast-paced environment which includes long hours., Must be able to multi-task and accommodate multiple requests effectively., Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team., Must be able to communicate well with management, crew and project owners’ representatives.
