- Job Details: Position Title: Director of Facilities Status: Full-time, Exempt Reports to: Chief Operations Officer Department: Facilities Job Purpose: The Director of Facilities oversees all Museum campus building operating systems including facilities/maintenance, technical engineering services, landscaping, janitorial services and fire systems.
- Maintenance of the HVAC, and fire safety systems through a systematic maintenance program.
- Work with general contractor of Museum expansion project for integration of new museum operating systems with existing museum operating systems.
- Establish and maintain safety standards in facilities work activities and ensure proper use of chemicals and equipment in facilities maintenance and landscaping activities.
- Develop and manage the annual building maintenance and capital budgets and consult with other department heads on their budgets related to events and programs working closely with the CFO and COO. Establish and maintain department’s procedures and best practices.
