- The Director for Faculty Development will design, implement, manage, and evaluate comprehensive faculty professional development programs and implement and use assessment of student learning to improve education quality and sustain a ‘culture of evidence’ in the College of Medicine.
- Reporting to the Senior Associate Dean, Academic Affairs in the College of Medicine, the incumbent is responsible for the strategic creation and delivery of robust professional development programs across all faculty teaching, research, and service activities, with a special emphasis on assessment of student learning.
- The Director will have extensive experience in Health Science and Medical Education including a broad knowledge of academic affairs management, teaching and learning assessment, data analysis and program evaluation, and faculty professional development.
- Collaborate with faculty research partners and institutional effectiveness officers in the assessment and evaluation of professional development activities and services.
- Manage faculty development administrative tasks including program development, implementation, and monitoring of service quality through data collection and participant feedback.
