- The Amtrak ADA Stations Program (ADASP) is responsible for bringing Amtrak stations into compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. The ADASP implements design and construction of infrastructure improvements to provide accessibly to Amtraks intercity rail transportation system.
- This position will be part of a Joint Venture (AECOM & Jacobs) that is providing staff and services to Amtrak.
- Serves as the owners (Amtrak) Cultural Resources representative with external entities such cultural resources consultants, State Historic Preservation Offices, State and Local Government, Historic and Preservation groups, and other consulting parties.
- Provides primary QA/QC of Section 106 deliverables in preparation for initial review by Amtraks Lead Historic Preservation Specialist.
- Serves as first level response for the ADASP to cultural resources inquires and works with Amtrak Lead Historic Preservation Specialist and Cultural Resources Consultant to address all Section 106 project comments, questions and request from SHPO, THPO, and other consulting parties.
