- Job Summary: One part-time internship opportunity will support effective communications between the Behavioral Health Services (BHS) and various Criminal Justice System (CJS) partners.
- The Criminal Justice Liaison Interns will function as part of the Community Access to Recovery Services (CARS) intake team, which completes initial assessments and links individuals to community-based behavioral health services.
- Interns will assist with transition planning services for in-custody individuals with behavioral health needs, help facilitate the transition from custody to community supports and resources, connect persons with mental health related illness to community-based agencies, and communicate with attorneys, families, and guardians.
