- The Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Assistant Manager is responsible for consistently carrying out and promoting the EHS program of Mobis Alabama-Savannah Plant, training Team Members on applicable EHS-related matters, ensuring the company is in compliance with EHS laws and regulations, participating in audits and incident investigations, and carrying out resulting corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain safety and environmental programs, policies, and procedures, to manage all EHS compliance and risks applicable to the facility.
- Conduct Safety Management Systems (SMS) audits, Environmental Management Systems (EMS) audits, and/or monthly EHS inspections and assist in corrective actions
- Train Team Members on proper use of powered industrial trucks, aerial lifts, tuggers, overhead cranes, and related industrial equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent, plus 3 or more years of experience in an EHS-related position in a manufacturing environment OR
