WRC is an Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment Center, new to Mercer County! We are Located in West Windsor, NJ, the facility will offer traditional & holistic methods for treating substance abuse in a Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) setting.

Bachelors' degree in a behavioral health field and one year experience in a Substance abuse or behavioral health treatment facility OR High School diploma or equivalent G.E.D., and a combination of Behavioral health education and work experience totaling a minimum of two years and knowledge of therapeutic community processes, methods, and design, including small-group dynamics.

The Substance Abuse Therapist will utilize community resources and referrals, as appropriate, to enhance and expand treatment. The Substance Abuse Therapist will facilitate IOP, SOP, & Aftercare groups, using the agency Substance Abuse Program curriculum, which consists of a comprehensive, structured, step-down group program, and can also include individual and/or family therapy, as needed.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts or General Studies with a concentration of at least 16 hours in one of the following fields (i.e. psychology, education, counseling, social services, sociology, philosophy, family and participant sciences, criminal justice, rehabilitation services, substance abuse treatment, gerontology, and or vocational rehabilitation) AND two (2) years of paid post degree experience providing support coordination services.

Awareness of how the substance use disorders and other mental health disorders determine delivery of non-medical clinical counseling across the Marine Corps. Master's Degree in Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy, with 2 years¿ post graduate experience in the Substance Abuse Treatment field.

Most successful applicants will have had experience collaborating with community-based services such as mental health services, substance abuse services, employment services, and/or housing services, in addition to effectively collaborating with Corrections, the Oregon State Hospital, Peer Support, Social Service, and Mental Health partners.
