This hands-on role is responsible for preparing, coating, curing, and inspecting metal parts using industrial powder coating processes while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.If you have powder coating or industrial finishing experience and want a stable evening shift opportunity with long-term potential, this Powder Coater role could be a strong fit.Required Experience & Skills• Previous powder coating or industrial painting experience preferred• Knowledge of powder coating equipment, coating materials, and finishing processes• Ability to read and follow work orders, production instructions, and specifications• Strong attention to detail and commitment to finish quality• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team• Strong commitment to workplace safety and PPE compliance• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly throughout the shift• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic are requiredEssential Duties & Responsibilities• Prepare parts through cleaning, sanding, masking, hanging, and surface prep• Operate powder coating equipment including spray guns, booths, and curing ovens• Apply coatings evenly to meet thickness, adhesion, and finish quality requirements• Inspect finished parts for coverage, defects, consistency, and overall appearance• Cure coated materials according to required temperature and cycle specifications• Perform color changes, equipment cleaning, and routine maintenance• Follow blueprints, work orders, and production schedules accurately• Maintain production records and required documentation• Support material handling, loading, unloading, and part movement as needed• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following 5S standards• Follow all workplace safety procedures and company policiesWork Environment• Industrial manufacturing / paint shop environment• Exposure to dust, fumes, heat, coating materials, and industrial equipment• Physically demanding role requiring standing, lifting, repetitive motion, and PPE compliance• PPE required in all production areasWhy You'll Want This Opportunity• Competitive pay at $22.00 per hour• Stable 4-day evening shift schedule• Temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential• Paid training on day shift before moving to permanent shift• Great fit for experienced powder coating or industrial finishing candidatesReady to Apply?Apply online or call/text us at 918-582-0522 for more information.You can also walk in and apply at:1531 E. 2nd St. Tulsa, OK 74120Monday-Friday | 8 AM - 4 PM
