Eligibility may vary.We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to support safe and efficient manufacturing operations at our Grand Rapids facility. This role is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and facility systems while helping minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.Key ResponsibilitiesFollow all workplace safety standards, including PPE and Lockout/Tagout proceduresDiagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical systemsMaintain equipment such as HVAC systems, pumps, mixers, plumbing, and production machineryPerform preventive maintenance activities using CMMS softwareComplete maintenance records, repair logs, and purchasing documentation accuratelyOperate forklifts and lifts after completing required training and certificationsAssist with installation and setup of new or upgraded equipmentSupport and train maintenance team members as neededMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredAt least 5 years of combined maintenance experience and technical trainingStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities, including basic PLC diagnosticsMust be authorized to work in the United StatesSkills in machining, pipefitting, or PLC troubleshooting/programmingApply now for immediate consideration for this Maintenance Mechanic role in Walker, MI.
