Cypress Care Center - Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Full Time, Per DiemUP TO A $5K SIGN ON BONUSCypress Care Center is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in a full-time, in-house position within our subacute rehabilitation unit. In this impactful role, you will work alongside licensed physical therapists to provide high-quality care to our residents, helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals and improve their quality of life.Key Responsibilities:Assist in Treatment: Support Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans to enhance residents' mobility and functional abilities.Therapeutic Interventions: Provide hands-on therapy, including exercises and modalities, to help residents regain strength and coordination.Patient Monitoring: Observe and document patient progress, reporting any changes to the supervising Physical Therapist for necessary adjustments.Patient Education: Educate residents and their families on exercises, techniques, and strategies to facilitate recovery and promote independence.Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and nursing staff, to ensure coordinated care.Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records of patient treatments and progress in compliance with regulatory standards.Qualifications:Education: Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.Licensure: Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Florida.Experience: Previous experience in a rehabilitation or healthcare setting is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills; a passion for patient care and teamwork.Why Join Us?At Cypress Care Center, you will be part of a caring and supportive environment focused on enhancing the lives of our residents.
