G7 is part of Project, a creative alliance for the ambitious, made up of 13 diverse agencies and 2,300 creative allies across the globe.About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Resource Manager to oversee staffing, capacity planning, and resource allocation across multiple departments within G7. This role is responsible for ensuring the right talent is aligned to the right projects while maintaining visibility into creative, strategy, digital, production, talent partnerships, and new business development teams’ bandwidth.The ideal candidate is a strategic and organized operator who understands the nuances of agency workflows and can confidently collaborate with department leads. This person does not need to be a subject matter expert in any one department, but must have a strong understanding of creative and project management processes and the ability to operate at a senior level with cross-functional teams.Key ResponsibilitiesResource & Capacity ManagementManage and optimize staffing across creative, strategy, digital, production, talent partnerships, and NBD bandwidth.Monitor agency and department capacity to ensure balanced workloads and effective utilization.Partner with appropriate leads to align resources based on project scope, timelines, and experience levels.Maintain visibility into upcoming work and proactively flag capacity gaps or conflicts.Forecasting & PlanningLead resource forecasting across departments to support upcoming programs and business development needs.Partner with leadership to anticipate staffing needs and recommend freelance or hiring solutions.Maintain accurate resource plans and ensure alignment with project timelines and priorities.Creative & Strategy SupportWork closely with Strategy + Creative leadership to allocate appropriate talent across projects.Understand the strengths, experience levels, and specialties of team members to ensure the right fit for each program.Confidently collaborate with senior creative and production leadership on staffing decisions and bring in freelance partners when applicable.Create a centralized visibility of all projects, including owners, milestones and due dates.Partner with creative, client services, and NBD leads to clarify shifting priorities and communicate what work is most urgent when bandwidth is constrained.Proactively flag upcoming deadlines, risks or timeline changes to keep the teams on track and avoid last-minute fire drills.Ensure all deliverables, deadlines, and updates are accurately reflected in Asana and consistent across all programs.Budgeting & Department ReconciliationTrack departmental budgets related to staffing and freelance support.Partner with Finance and Operations to reconcile resource allocations against project budgets.Ensure staffing decisions align with financial targets and project profitability.Internal Marketing Project ManagementManage workflow of internal G7 marketing initiatives beginning Fall 2026Process & WorkflowImplement and manage systems that support efficient resource planning and cross-team visibility.Facilitate regular resourcing meetings with department leaders.Identify workflow improvements to enhance collaboration and operational efficiency.Qualifications5+ years of experience in resource management, project management, creative resource management, traffic management, or studio management within a marketing agency or experiential environment.Strong understanding of creative and production workflows.Ability to collaborate with senior creative leadership and project teams.Experience with capacity planning, forecasting, and resource allocation across multiple departments.Comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.Enthusiastic, proactive, and flexible team playerStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Experience with agency workflow tools like Asana, Workfront, Monday, Workamajig, Productive, Float, etc., preferredFamiliarity with Slack and Google Suite strongly preferredAbility to work with and maintain confidential informationOther Important ExpectationsFollow G7 Core Values of Respect, Accountability, Passion, Integrity, and CourageConduct yourself in a professional manner and always operate in accordance with company policies per the G7 and Project code of ethics and employee handbookMaintain a current understanding of all G7 capabilities and client programsPromote G7, Project, and clients positively at all timesStay solutions-focused, calm, adaptable, and open to feedback in a fast-paced environmentWork with your manager to create and track performance goalsAssist management to ensure company goals are being metWhat Success Looks LikeClear visibility into agency and team capacity across departments.Balanced workloads across all teams.Improved forecasting and proactive staffing decisions.Strong partnership with department leads to ensuring projects are staffed effectively and efficiently.Work EnvironmentHybrid office schedule: in-office days are Tuesdays and Thursdays, Wednesdays strongly encouragedHighly collaborative team environmentNoise level usually moderateExtremely fast pacedTravel expectations: minimal At G7 and Project, each person is unique in their background - ability, age, race, gender, orientation, religion, status, and viewpoint - and is an essential thread in the fabric of our family of agencies.
