Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Clinical Documentation Integrity Professional based in Winter Haven, FL. Responsibilities include ensuring accurate documentation of clinical records to reflect patient care and associated treatments. This role also involves collaborating with healthcare providers to clarify diagnoses and procedures, performing detailed chart reviews, and identifying opportunities for improving documentation to meet compliance and quality standards. Qualifications Proficient in Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI), medical record review, and clinical terminology understandingStrong knowledge of ICD-10 coding guidelines, DRG optimization, and healthcare reimbursement processesAbility to collaborate effectively with physicians, clinical teams, and colleaguesKeen attention to detail with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsFamiliarity with healthcare compliance and regulatory requirementsProficiency in using electronic health record systems and CDI software toolsRegistered Nurse (RN), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS), or related certification preferredBachelor’s degree in Nursing, Health Information Management, or related field strongly desired
