Commercial Electrician - Apprentice And Journeymen NeededResponsibilitiesInstall and run GRC (galvanized rigid conduit) and other rigid conduit systems, including cutting, bending, threading, and securely fastening conduit.Pull electrical wiring through conduit and raceways, ensuring proper routing, organization, and identification of conductors.Terminate I/O devices and perform PLC-related terminations, ensuring accurate and reliable connections for control systems.Perform electrical repairs and modifications in an older industrial building where electrical contractors have historically completed repair work.Use basic hand tools safely and effectively to complete daily electrical tasks.Work comfortably and safely at heights and from lifts, using harnesses and other fall protection as required.Perform temporary wiring and install temporary devices as needed to support construction and maintenance activities.Read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings with minimal supervision to plan and execute installations and repairs.Complete required internal safety and online training prior to reporting to the site, including scissor lift training as applicable.Use required mobile applications to access and complete assigned trainings, and verify completion before reporting to the jobsite.Follow all site safety protocols, including the use of required PPE such as a Type II hardhat with 4-point chinstrap and cut level 4 gloves.Support a culture of reliability by maintaining consistent attendance and being prepared and ready to work each scheduled shift.Essential SkillsAt least 1 year of relevant electrical experience in commercial or industrial construction.Ability to run GRC (galvanized rigid conduit) and other rigid conduit, including cutting, bending, threading, and installing conduit.Proficiency in pulling electrical wire through conduit and raceways.Ability to terminate I/O devices and perform PLC-related terminations.Comfort working at heights and from scissor or boom lifts.Ability to use basic hand tools required for electrical work.OSHA 10 certification, or willingness to obtain it prior to starting.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working as an electrical apprentice or journeyman in industrial or commercial environments.Experience performing temporary wiring and installing temporary devices.Ability to read and interpret blueprints with minimal supervision.Job Type & LocationThis is a contract position based out of Lima, OH.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $34.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
