The Account Manager assists with existing clients and new business prospects by performing a variety of tasks. This role is primarily an internally focused position, with some level of client contact. The Account Manager typically handles $900,000 in revenue.In this role, you will contribute to the team by: Providing the Gibson client experience to existing accounts and potential clients by:Promptly handling client requests, questions, and policy changes, in a professional mannerDocumenting all client activity and correspondence into agency management tools and software systemsManaging the day-to-day client activity through:Developing and retaining solid partnerships with clients’, HR managers and other client support staffManaging service/billing/claims/enrollment issues with clientsHandling carrier or administrative issues as part of a client service team for client accountsResearching and resolving issues for clients in a timely mannerPlanning, prioritizing, and completing day-to-day workload, considering new business, renewal business and day-to-day service responsibilities for the clients’ accounts assigned in a timely manner ensuring internal/external deadlines are metAttending internal renewal meetingsManaging implementation of new lines of coverage and carrier changes with Client ManagerPreparing employee communications material such as:Benefit Guides, brochures, flyers and payroll stuffersProofing booklets and contracts for accuracy and resolving any inaccuraciesRequesting Schedule A’s for clients’ IRS Form 5500 filings and facilitating signature ready Form 5500sAssisting clients on where to obtain required notices, such as Medicare Part D Notice requirementsMaintaining data integrity in the agency management systemWorking with Service Support Specialist to set up HR managers and support staff with Gibson toolsInforming Client Managers of escalated service issuesManaging ResourcePro utilizationActing as a backup to team personnel as neededMaintaining confidential informationPerforms other duties and special projects as assignedYou might be a great fit for this role if you:Love marking tasks off a to-do listExcel at prioritizing competing demands and adapting quickly to internal and external requestsAre driven to meet deadlinesHave strong problem solving and critical thinking skills to resolve client issuesHave a knack for thorough documentationThrive in a fast-paced, team environment to meet client needsLove delivering a great client experienceNaturally ask clarifying questions to dig to the root of the issueExhibit patience, determination, and persistence in troubleshooting client issuesHave strong communication skillsEnjoy communicating internally & with clients via phone, email, and ZoomRequiredMust have 2+ years of experience in a similar role within the insurance, risk management, or financial services industryLife & Health license (or the ability to obtain the license within 3 months of employment)About GibsonWe exist to pursue the best interests of our clients.
