Brand Ambassador

This is not a typical field marketing role - it's a launch leadership position. You will execute a full summer-long sampling and experiential program across NYC's biggest cultural events, fitness channels, and high-traffic street-level activations driving consumer buzz and trial.You'll manage a team of 6-8 Brand Ambassadors, coordinate with our distribution partners, Marketing and Sales teams. This role reports to the Field Marketing Manager.TASKS, DUTIES, & GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIESEvent Program Execution: Own end-to-end execution of sampling plan including Brand Ambassador(s) management, event programming, inventory management, logistics, and administration. Act as the primary on-site contact for event organizers and venue managers during activations.Team Leadership: Lead 6-8 Brand Ambassadors and run on-site activation across daily field operations: training, assign positions, manage breaks, maintain energy and brand standards across 4+ hour brand activations.Inventory Management: Oversee product sample management, including sourcing vendors, placing orders, shipping logistics, and tracking spending.Logistics & Planning: Anticipate and solve logistical challenges proactively to ensure smooth operations. Own cold-chain execution in the field: vehicle loading, cooler prep, ice management, product rotation across all flavors - every sample/can served ice-cold.Administration: Keep everything organized—prioritize tasks, manage schedules, ensure appropriate product stocking across events, and work efficiently both from home and in the field. Regular reports to be shared internally of all market programming.Conduct on-the-spot coaching and quality checks, e.g. monitor BA engagement quality, correct low-energy or off-script interactions in real time, keep energy and morale high.Manage Daily Field Logistics: branded tent/cart setup and breakdown, signage placement, BA uniform checks, permit documentation on-site, and vehicle parking/positioning etc.Track and report daily sampling numbers by location, SKU, and time-of-day to the Field Marketing Manager; flag what's working and what's not before the weekly report.Identify and escalate field-level consumer insights: what questions people ask, flavor preferences, objections, competitor comparisons, and UGC-worthy moments etc.Qualifications:1-3 years in brand ambassador work, street team leadership, event staffing, or experiential marketing - ideally in Client beverages, food, or fitness.Experience leading or supervising a team of 4+ in a field or event setting (not just participating - actually running the crew).Valid driver's license; comfortable working evenings and weekends as needed.Ability to thrive in a startup environment where things move quickly and change often.Ability to establish good relationships and credibility with store managers, customers, and brokers. Excellent managing time, priorities, and expenses.Comfortable and confident engaging strangers - high energy, naturally social, not afraid to approach people in a park, at a race finish line, or outside a gym.Reliable, punctual, and detail oriented.Physical Requirements – ability to lift up to 25 lbs (product cases and event materials), comfortable standing for extended periods (minimum of 4 hours).Based in NYC with frequent travel (locally)
