The Marketing and Content Specialist will help drive growth, win new business, and bring the Verde story to life. This role blends proposal development, corporate communications, and brand storytelling to support sales, marketing, and business development initiatives.The Marketing and Content Specialist plays a critical role in responding to Requests for Proposal (RFPs), creating compelling written content, and maintaining a consistent, engaging brand voice across multiple platforms.Key Responsibilities As a Marketing and Content Specialist at Verde, you will:Execute the development, writing, and submission of Requests for Proposal (RFPs), RFIs, and RFQs, ensuring compliance with all formatting and submission requirementsWrite clear, concise, and persuasive proposal content aligned with client requirements and Verde's brand voiceCollaborate with Sales, Business Development, and subject matter experts to gather technical, operational, and sustainability-related contentCreate and edit content for marketing materials, email campaigns, press releases, award submissions, white papers, and training documentsMaintain and elevate Verde's brand voice (\"Verde Vibes\") across proposals and communicationsDevelop social media and campaign copy that supports new business growthEdit and proofread internal and external communications for grammar, clarity, and consistencySupport new business presentations and quarterly business reviews using company-approved templatesAssist with light design coordination to ensure final deliverables are visually aligned with brand standardsRequired Qualifications Minimum 2 years of professional or corporate writing experience (proposal writing experience strongly preferred)Proven experience responding to RFPs or complex business proposalsStrong writing, editing, and proofreading skillsAbility to translate complex or technical information into clear, client-focused messagingProficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint; familiarity with Adobe Suite preferredStrong time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlinesExperience working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and operations teamsWriting portfolio or samples requiredPreferred ExperienceFacilities services, janitorial services, or commercial servicesSustainability, green cleaning, LEED, or environmental programsB2B marketing or sales enablement writingAbout VerdeVerde is a U.S.-based commercial facilities services company delivering cleaner, greener workplaces.
