We're hiring a Platform/Infra Engineer to build and scale the core systems powering a fast-growing AI security startup in San Francisco.The role:Own backend systems, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructureBuild real-time streaming infrastructure (Kafka, ETL, reverse ETL)Collaborate with data and ML teams on production-grade systemsImprove reliability, observability, and scalability across the stackMentor junior engineers and contribute to technical directionYou bring:5–10 years as a backend, infra, or platform engineerDeep Kafka experience — event schema design, streaming ETLStrong AWS or GCP backgroundTenure at fast-growing startups (3–4+ years in one place)Low ego, high ownership, team-first mindsetThe opportunity:Well-backed by top-tier VCs~55 people — still early enough to shape the cultureCompetitive salary + equityHybrid San FranciscoNo visa sponsorship available.
